in this notice This announcement constitutes the only solicitation proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued The referencesolicitation F7390012350100 is issued as a request for proposal RFP This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 9727 This acquisition is 100 setaside for small businesses The NAICS Code is 235940 with an 115 M size standard The project consist of the demolition and disposal of up to fiftysix 56 family housing units twelve 12 single units and twentytwo 22 duplex units and driveway carport areas located on Charleston Air Force Base South Carolina The contractor is also responsible for providing a current asbestoslead base paint survey on the units prior to work starting and for replacing sod in areas disturbed by the demolition A detailed statement of work and set of specifications can be downloaded from Federal Business Opportunities website wwwepsgov The performance time on this project will be based on the number of units funded at time of award However the maximum time will not exceed 226 calendar days The contractor will be required to start work within 10 days of award provide all submittals and begin work on site within 30 days The contractor shall be given two structures two structures may consist of 2 single units or 2 duplexes or one of each and will have 7 calendar days to complete these units before being given additional units In order to expedite asbestos removal the contractor will be allowed to proceed on each unit for asbestos removal Contractors shall submit pricing as itemized on the attached Price Schedule We anticipate awarding approximately 31 housing units for demolition with a possibility of awarding an additional 25 units if additional funds are available at time of award All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency A mandatory preproposal conferencesite visit is scheduled for Tuesday 18 September 2001 at 830 AM at the 437th Contracting Squadron 101 East Hill Blvd Bldg 503 Charleston AFB SC The following clauses and provisions are
