Time charter of a US flag NON selfsustaining cellular container vessels to move 1200 20 ft containers 10 chop of ammo WORLDWIDE for Exercise Turbo Cads Vessel must sustain a laden speed of at least 16 knots The container vessel would be involved with another exercise called JLOTS Joint Logistics over the Shore During this operation the vessel will make a stop off the US West Coast This stop will be the JLOTS site in which the vessel would be moored alongside a crane vessel TACS and then discharge a number of containers using the TACS vessels cranes This TACS vessel will then place containers into small boats for transshipment to the shore operation Once awarded a contract the contractor will need to attend the Final Planning Conference 811 Jan 02 location will be US West Coast This will provide additional information with regard to the operations of this lift in CONUS and South West Asia PlaceRange of Delivery North Arabian Sea PlaceRange of Redelivery Worldwide Charter Period About 150 days with Government option to redeliver after 60 days with 10 days prior notice Laydays 0203 February 2002
