NA The US Army CommunicationsElectronics Command CECOM Acquisition Center Washington is seeking sources for an improved Minefield Marking System consisting of signs pickets and fencing for use in humanitarian demining operations worldwide on behalf of the CECOM Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate NVESD Humanitarian Demining Office The Minefield Marking System shall be low cost adaptable to a wide variety of mineafflicted countries and constructed of weatherresistant material In addi tion the marking system shall be constructed of materials that are unattractive to pilferage and be low maintenance The system shall conform with existing UN as well as other recognized international standards All responses will be reviewed however the contractor shall be responsible for any costs associated with preparing a response The response should be no longer than five pages and must include information supporting claims that the contractor can satisfy the requirements All capability claims must be supported This support should include demonstrations at sites not controlled by the contractor and witnessed by independent personnel Responses are to be received via email within 45 calendar days from the date of this notice Those intereste d should respond via electronic mail to Patricia Davis Contracting Officer at patdaviscacwarmymil
