Under the Statutory Authority of 38 USC 8154 and FAR Part 6302 the VA Medical Center Minneapolis Minnesota anticipates entering into a sole source negotiation with Twin Cities Health Professionals Education Consortium TCHP for continuing education and training of critical care nursing psychiatry and operating room staff TCHP is a consortium of the Twin Cities three public teaching hospitals in the MinneapolisSt Paul metro area Hennepin County Regions and the VA Medical Center who are affiliated with the University of Minnesota Medical School TCHP facilitates a wide range of activities among the three affiliated hospitals and develops consolidated programs to avoid duplication of efforts and enhance efficiency in health care services education and research The Governments minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source The VA will conduct this procurement in accordance with FAR Part 15 The NAICS Code for this procurement 622110 is 25 Million for small business Bid documents are not available It is anticipated that this will be a five year contract consisting of a base year with four 12month options to renew See Note 22
