The US Customs Service intends to negotiate on a solesource basis with BAE Systems of Green Lawn New York to provide equipment modifications to existing ANTPX54 Identification Friend or Foe IFF systems to support the P3 AEW aircraft upgrade program This equipment will be supplied as Government Furnished Equipment GFE to BAE Systems for modification The modified GFE will then be delivered to the prime contractor for integration with a new mission computer and display system to achieve a common avionics configuration baseline as previously established by the most recent USCS configuration P3 AEW 7 and 8 This contract will require the contractor to provide technical support data and additional system spares This contract action is subject to the availability of funds See Note 22
