The US Customs Service intends to negotiate on a solesource basis with BF Goodrich of Grand Rapids Michigan to procure commercial Electronic Standby Instrument Systems ESIS to support the P3 AEW aircraft upgrade program This ESIS equipment along with an AirData computer will be supplied by Customs as Government Furnished Equipment GFE to the prime contractor and will be integrated with the existing pitotstatic system to achieve a common avionics configuration baseline as previously established by the most recent USCS configuration P3 AEW 7 and 8 This contract will require the contractor to provide technical support manuals data and additional system spares This contract action is subject to the availability of funds See Note 22
