STATEMENT OF WORK REPAIR 250 HP PUMP MOTOR FOR WELL 13 BUILDING 456 1 SCOPE The work covered by this statement of work consists in furnishing all plant labor equipment appliances and materials and performing all operations in connection with the complete repair of the motor for water well 13 2 DISCONNECT AND TRANSPORT EXISTING MOTOR FOR REPAIR Disconnect existing 250 horse power 3 phase 60 cycle 460 volts 1770 RPM motor Enclosure NEMA 1WP 115 SF Frame 445TPA Government personnel will assist with crane to remove motor from wellhead and place on contractors vehicle for transportation 3 REPAIR TRANSPORT AND INSTALLCONNECT MOTOR Contractor shall rewind the motor install new bearings balance the shaft and install new site glass Contractor shall transport the motor back to the water well and government personnel will assist with crane to set the motor back on the wellhead Contractor will install and reconnect motor ensuring wiring is correct for proper rotation 4 TESTS After the installation is complete and at such time as the Contracting Officer may direct the contractor shall conduct an operation test for approval to ensure the motor is operational The equipment shall be demonstrated to operate in accordance with the requirements of this specification The test shall be performed in the presence of the base electrician and water treatment operator The contractor shall furnish all instruments and personnel required for the test 5 WARRANTY The contractor shall provide a 1year warranty on all labor and material 6 PERFORMANCE PERIOD The performance period for this project is 14 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed This acquisition is setaside strictly for emerging small business
