W--Rental of temporary desiccant dehimidification equipment

Rental of a Temporary Desiccant Dehumidification TDD equipment that will provide dehumidified and temperature conditioned air to support sandblast and paint operations in the main ballast and interior tanks of submarines in drydock at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard located in Kittery ME The TDD equipment will comprise of three 3 independent and noncollocated systems for reliability flexibility and scheduling reasons Each of the three 3 duplicate TDD systems will consist of a a desiccant dehumidification unit DDU with an integral airhandler b a temperature conditioning module cooling or heating coil as determined by the seasonal ambient temperature and c a chiller unit provided by another Vendor when the temperature conditioning module is a cooling coil type The TDD equipment is for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard PNS The TDD equipment will be connec ted between the 15th 17th of January two sets and on the 29th or 30th of January one set and remain until July 29th Initially heating modules will be deployed and then swapped for cooling modules The planned change over date for switching modules is sometime between the 10th 22nd of April The rental period is scheduled to complete on 29 July 2002
