The written solicitation will be posted in a word document on 22 June 2001 STATEMENT OF WORK REPLACE HOLDING TANK FOR FUELWATER SEPERATOR AT FUEL STORAGE FACILITY 351 1 SCOPE The work covered by this statement of work consists in furnishing all plant labor equipment appliances and materials and performing all operations in connection with the replacement of 130 gallon tank measuring 55 feet high and 2 feet in diameter All work will be in strict accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract 2 REMOVE OLD TANK Contractor will open tank so that government personnel can pump contents from tank and all lines Contractor will disconnect all lines and remove old tank Government personnel will dispose of old tank and piping 3 FABRICATE AND INSTALL NEW TANK AND CONTOLS New tank will have the same dimensions as the old one and made of new carbon steel with a fully removable lid and all the necessary connections The interior and exterior of the tank will be powder coated for corrosion resistance New tank shall have automated level sensor that includes a low levelpump off and a high levelpump on with a high level visual alarm Install tank and make connection to existing piping Install controls to exiting pump and control panel 4 TESTS AND FINAL INSPECTION After the installation is complete and at such time as the Contracting Officer may direct the contractor shall conduct an operational and leak check The test shall be performed in the presence of a Civil Engineer representative and contractor 5 WARRANTY The contractor shall provide a 1year warranty on all labor and material
