In support of Executive Order 13985 Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government the US Department of Homeland Security DHS Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization OSDBU is hosting a Large Prime Small Business and Historically Black Colleges and Universities HBCUs and Minority Institutions MIs Vendor Outreach Matchmaking Event VOME The inaugural virtual event will be held on April 30 2024 with meetings occurring between 900 am 400 pm Eastern Time In Fiscal Year 2022 the National Defense Authorization Act was amended codifying the DHS Mentor Protégé Program MPP at 6 USC 475a The most significant change was the addition of HBCUsMIs as protégés  Since DHS expects to start accepting MPP applications in May 2024 including HBCUsMIs to this VOME is an opportunity to support the revised DHS MPP by introducing these educational institutions to DHS OSDBU outreach efforts and the MPP  This VOME will help forge and maintain prime subcontractor relationships teaming opportunities joint ventures and possible MPP partnerships It also is being held to support the Small Business Administrations National Small Business Week Each virtual meeting will be 15minutes and established by the matching of core competencies needs and lines of businesses as identified by each firm and HBCUsMIs North American Industry Classification System Code Large business prime contractors will choose to meet with the small businesses and HBCUsMIs that align with their needs and current requirements Consequently there may be small businesses and HBCUsMIs that register but may not receive a meeting   What This Event Is Virtual oneonone 15minute meetings between large and small businesses and HBCUSMIs An opportunity to present capabilities and to have potential discussions outside of the VOME An opportunity for new entrants to establish a relationship with large businesses currently doing business with DHS or other federal agencies andor actively seeking opportunities   What This Event Is NOT A virtual Vendor Outreach Session There are no meetings with DHS Small Business Specialists A procurement specific VOME or an Industry Day for any DHS procurement A webinar event or training   All businesses and HBCUsMIs are required to register at httpsvomeapril2024mbmappcom and provide the required information including a capability statement and a valid point of contact email address in their profile compatible with various virtual meeting tools eg Zoom Microsoft Teams WebEx etc Once your firm receives confirmation of a meeting from the scheduling site you will receive a followup email with the virtual meeting invitation If you do not see a meeting invitation check your spam or junk mail folders A platform tutorial is also being provided in this notice outlining the registration and meeting process Please be advised that if connectivity issues occur using the virtual tools the session may be conducted telephonically or rescheduled Please Note  All HBCUs and MIs will be considered as small businesses for this event While we welcome all small businesses to participate only educational institutions should register as an HBCU or MI not because you attended one Large businesses that would like to participate should contact Mr Kyle Groome at KyleGroomehqdhsgov and Ms Jenista Tobias at JenistaTobiashqdhsgov Registration is now open until 1159 PM ET Monday April 29 2024 Small businesses and HBCUsMIs should forward all questions about this virtual VOME to OSDBUVOShqdhsgov Again the direct registration link is httpsvomeapril2024mbmappcom

This is a sources sought No award will be issued from this notice GENERAL  This is a sources sought for nonpersonal services contract under which the personnel rendering the services are not subject either by the contracts terms or by the manner of its administration to the supervision and control usually prevailing in relationships between the Government and its employees The United States US Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the Contractors employees performing the tasks herein Such contract employees shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who in turn shall be responsible to the US Government The 410th Contracting Support Brigade is seeking to obtain support to provide portable Chemical Latrines and Hand Washing Stations in and around San Jose Costa Rica The contractor shall provide all tools materials equipment labor transportation personnel and supervision necessary to provide Portable Chemical Latrines RentalsServices The contractor shall place Portable Chemical Latrines at a concentration and at locations as determined by the Contracting Officer and COR if applicable at each location Upon request the contractor shall relocate Portable Chemical Latrines up to once per day at the same time as cleaning The contractor shall perform to the standards in this sources sought  Summary of performance requirements are as follows   Latrine Specifications a Heavyduty plastic construction with light colored roof b Air vents located a top of mobile latrines c Hinged and springloaded door d Interior door lock mechanism e Selfcontained holding tank with roof vent f Dual lift toilet seat with separate urinal g Interior mounted toilet paper dispenser 2 roll minimum h Interior mounted hand sanitizer dispenser Latrines shall contain a hand sanitizer dispenser consisting of the following a Plastic construction b Push or pull release c Measured quantity release d Hand Sanitizer shall be rapid evaporation gelliquid Latrine Cleaning Service shall consist of the following a Removal of all sewage from mobile latrine b Installation of sewage chemicals in holding tank c Clean interior and exterior of mobile latrine d Restock toilet paper e InstallRestock Hand Sanitizer gelliquid Handwashing Station Placement The contractor shall provide all handwashing stations for personnel The contractor shall place a hand washing station in all designated locations a The contractor shall deliver and refill the water in the hand washing stations daily or as specified by the Government b The contractor shall provide liquid form antibacterial hand soap and dispenser with each hand washing station The contractor shall ensure the hand soap dispenser is refilled daily during the cleaning process c Spillage The Contractor must avoid spillage and must be prepared to contain spills and remove all waste of the ground immediately
